Meet amy!
amy brown is an Author and a Trucker’s Wife with a heart for encouraging women to trust God fully and rest in His perfect timing; giving you“Real Life Encouragement, through Real Life” She is a dedicated wife and a homeschool mama to two graduated boys, and she considers both her husband and her sons to be the Lord’s beautiful picture of a life well lived in Him.
Living in the northern portion of Virginia in the Shenandoah Valley, amy is walking a season of intentional obedience; fully surrendered to the Lord’s vision and leading for her family and calling. Her writing is shaped by seasons of waiting, listening, and choosing faithfulness over striving.
In addition to her work as a writer & operations manager of her home, amy is a Master’s-prepared Registered Nurse. A few days a month, you can find her in the Women's Services units teaching nursing students how to be the best nurses! Tutoring her students, teaching and guiding them, helping to care for mothers and families at the beginning of life has deepened her reverence for God’s design, timing, and faithfulness.
amy’s days are often filled with a long, but surrendered, to-do list, coffee drinking, early mornings in Scripture, and sitting at computer screens, writing for you or working to manage the office work of our family-owned business. As an everyday woman with a servant’s heart, she delights in nourishing others, both physically and spiritually.
After years of carrying the dream to write, amy has answered the gentle nudge of the Lord, believing that now is always His best time. Through her words, she seeks to remind women that obedience matters, endurance is sacred, and God’s timing is never late. I am delighted to have the time to write for you, in the Lord’s timing; providing you with “Real Life Encouragement, through Real Life.”
