I'm Still Here
Have you ever looked at the calendar and wondered how an entire season passed so quickly?
That is exactly how I have been feeling lately.
Life has been wonderfully full. My days have been filled with family, teaching, writing, deadlines, and all of the ordinary responsibilities that come with this beautiful season of life. Some evenings, I look back and wonder where the hours went, yet I also find myself grateful for every one of them.
Although I haven't been writing here quite as often as I would like, I want you to know that I haven't gone anywhere.
The Lord has been doing a great deal of work in my heart.
Sometimes I think we assume God only works during quiet seasons, but I have discovered that He often teaches us the most when life feels busy. He gently reminds us to slow our hearts, even when our calendars cannot slow down. He continues to shape our character, strengthen our faith, and reveal His goodness in the middle of ordinary days.
Lately, He has been teaching me that growth doesn't always look dramatic. Sometimes growth looks like choosing peace instead of worry. Sometimes it looks like showing up faithfully when no one else notices. Sometimes it simply looks like trusting Him with today's responsibilities while believing He is already preparing tomorrow.
I have also been working behind the scenes on several writing projects that I cannot wait to share with you. Every page I write reminds me why God placed this calling on my heart in the first place. My prayer is that every devotional, every blog post, and every book will gently encourage women to see His faithfulness in their own everyday lives.
Thank you for continuing to read, to pray, to encourage me, and to walk alongside me on this journey. Your kindness means more than you know.
I may be in a busy season, but it is also a growing season; & I have a feeling God is just getting started.
w/ gratitude,
